INDOOR DRUMLINE
Itinerary – AIA Prelims and Finals Virginia Championships
Potomac High School   -Saturday, April 1, 2017


 Prelims Schedule

7:30am – Arrive at Hayfield, Rehearsal (Hopefully in the gym…)
9:00am – Load Truck/Hair/Make-Up/Eat Snack/Change into Uniforms
10:15am – Depart for Potomac HS, 3401 Panther Pride Drive, Dumfries, VA 22026
10:45am – Scheduled arrival time, unload equipment, body warm-up, etc.
12:26pm – Scheduled Prelims Warm-Up time
12:44pm – Transit to Prelims Performance Area
12:53pm – On deck to perform Prelims
1:02pm – Scheduled Prelim Performance time
1:11pm – Move instruments/equipment to hold area, fold floor, have lunch, watch other performances.
2:25pm – Prelims Competition results posted (This is when we’ll find out our finals performance time)

Finals Schedule (TBA when AIA posts Prelims results)

2:30pm – Rehearsal in the parking lot (Dress warmly! Bring your instrument stand and water!)
4:00pm –
AIA Finals Competition begins
5:17pm – First PSA Division Finals begins (13th place performs at this time)
7:10pm – Last PSA Division Finals performance (1st place performs at this time)
10 Minutes after our finals performance time – Load the truck, fold floor, dinner, and Watch the end of the finals competition
9:30pm – Awards Ceremony (Stay in Uniform for retreat! Everyone’s on the floor for retreat!)
10:30pm – Depart Potomac HS, return to HSS.
11:15pm – Arrive at HSS, unload equipment, return rooms to correct seating. All students are expected to stay to help unload equipment once we get back to Hayfield SS.
12:00am – Go home!

All students need to bring a snack/lunch/dinner with them to rehearsal. We will NOT be stopping on the way to or from the competition site for food, so they will need to eat before we leave at 10:45am.

Students are advised to bring money to buy food for concessions after the performance. There will be concessions available! All parents and volunteers that have signed up to volunteer on SignUpGenius will receive free admission in the competition. The admission fee for all other spectators is $20. Children’s tickets are $10. Cash and credit are accepted.

Saturday, March 25, 2017

 11:45am – Arrive at Hayfield, Rehearsal 
2:45pm – Load Truck/Hair/Make-Up/Eat Snack/Change into Uniforms
4:15pm – Depart for Woodbridge HS, 3001 Old Bridge Road, Woodbridge, VA 22192
5:00pm – Scheduled arrival time, unload equipment, body warm-up, etc.
6:49pm – Scheduled Warm-Up time
7:07pm – Transit to Performance Area
7:16pm – On deck to perform
7:25pm – Scheduled Performance time.
7:29pm – Load truck, fold floor, watch other performances.
9:30pm – Awards, Judges Critique for directors
10:10pm – Depart Woodbridge HS, return to HSS.
10:45pm – Arrive at HSS, unload equipment, return rooms to correct seating. All students are expected to stay to help unload equipment once we get back to Hayfield SS.
11:30pm – Go home!

4:15pm – Depart for Woodgrove HS, 36811 Allder School Rd, Purcellville, VA 20132
                                    (PLEASE NOTE, this competition is an hour drive away)
5:15pm – Scheduled arrival time, unload equipment, body warm-up, etc.
6:53pm – Scheduled Warm-Up time
7:11pm – Transit to Performance Area
7:20pm – On deck to perform
7:29pm – Scheduled Performance time.
7:38pm – Load truck, fold floor, watch other performances.
9:15pm – Awards, Judges Critique for directors
10:00pm – Depart Woodgrove HS, return to HSS.
11:00pm – Arrive at HSS, unload equipment, return rooms to correct seating. All students are expected to stay to help unload equipment once we get back to Hayfield SS.
11:30pm – Go home!
